Our history is deeply rooted in the Brescia area of the 1980s—a region historically renowned for its industriousness, entrepreneurship, and robust manufacturing expertise.

We took our first steps in residential electrical systems, but it was our proximity to the local industrial heartland that triggered our first major breakthrough.

Within a few years, the company entered the Brescian steel industry, managing electrical maintenance in highly technological environments.

It was here, among the region's steel mills and workshops, that our DNA was forged: the ability to operate in complex industrial environments with precision and promptness.

1990-2010

Large-Scale Plants, Steelmaking, and Petrochemicals

To meet evolving market demands, the next step was natural: integrating our electrical expertise with a solid mechanical division.
This comprehensive approach allowed us to raise the bar and specialize in the assembly of large-scale industrial plants, expanding our reach into highly strategic sectors such as steel, petrochemicals, and energy.

During this twenty-year period of strong growth, we successfully managed the assembly and installation of massive, complex structures, including:

  • Steel Industry: Rolling mills and continuous casting plants.
  • Petrochemical & Refining Sector: Refining plants and offshore platform extraction facilities.
  • Energy & Heavy Logistics: Electrical substations, large industrial overhead cranes, and coal unloaders.

It was precisely this extensive experience in heavy industry that led to our first contact with the port sector, through the assembly of our first quay and yard cranes for container handling—a milestone that would permanently define our future.

2010–2017

International Expansion

The expertise gained on the field evolved into a specialized focus on the assembly of port structures. Our commitment to quality, engineering rigor, and reliable delivery times carried the company's reputation far beyond Italian borders.

We began operating regularly within both the European Union and non-EU markets, building a reputation for excellence that caught the attention of the world's leading global lifting players.

2017–Present

Cutting-Edge Engineering and a Global Presence

The year 2017 marked the dawn of a new era. Driven by the boom in global trade, the demand for increasingly larger cargo ships, and the subsequent need to modernize maritime terminals, we made a visionary strategic decision: to focus our core business entirely on the port and heavy logistics sector. This led to the establishment of TM srl.

Today, the company has evolved into a true global engineering partner. TM srl does not merely execute projects; we operate at the highest levels of large-scale lifting design, offering turnkey solutions that include the specialized management of onshore handling using SPMT (Self-Propelled Modular Transporter) modules and complex maritime barge transport.

Our comprehensive suite of integrated services addresses the end-to-end needs of major international players:

  • Engineering & Commissioning: Assembly, installation, handling, and commissioning of STS (Ship to Shore), RMG (Rail Mounted Gantry), and RTG (Rubber Tyred Gantry) cranes.
